After 108 victories, 269 games pitched, 1,704 strikeouts, two no-hitters, two Cy Young awards, and most importantly three World Series championships, longtime San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum is a true free agent for the first time in his career. With hip surgery and recent struggles hindering his return in 2016, it is unclear who will be interested in signing the 31-year-old right hander–including San Francisco.
According to Giants insider Andrew Baggarly of the San Jose Mercury News, a new contract is ““more a matter of when, how much and in what form, rather than if.
