When the offense was productive for a brief period early on in the year, the pitching was lackluster, and on days where the pitching has been superb, the offense has been cold as ice.
It is no secret that the San Francisco Giants have struggled to put together complete games in 2017, and that is what has been so frustrating because this team is full of players capable of doing so.
