The news comes after Law’s worst outing of the year. He gave up 4 runs on 5 hits and a walk without recording an out against the Braves on Monday.
Law was one of the Giants most reliable relievers to start the season with a 3.09 ERA through the first two months. He even converted 4 save opportunities with Mark Melancon injured.
But he’s been terrible in June giving up 10 runs on 15 hits in just 6.2 innings pitched.
The San Francisco Giants have been desperate to find any kind of consistency out of the bullpen.
