Stratton took the hill, coming off of his first big league complete game in his previous start, and looked as though he may be set for a good game after the first inning.
He even took advantage of a bases loaded situation early, providing the San Francisco Giants with a three run double. Just as things poised themselves for a good game, Chris Stratton pulled off his best Jekyll and Hyde performance, and surrendered fives runs in the bottom of the second inning.
So the mystery of Chris Stratton continues. Although he was unable to deliver against the Padres, all in all, Stratton has been fairly solid since his return from the minor leagues.
