Buster Posey wants more accountability from the umpires making final decisions.
Stephen Vogt wants to know how he was called out.
“I beat the throw, I went straight into the bag,” Vogt said.
Third base umpire Carlos Torres initially ruled that Vogt did not beat Dodgers first baseman Cody Bellinger’s throw to third base in the top of the ninth inning.
The Giants challenged the ruling on the field, confident that replay would show that Vogt’s foot arrived at third base before Bellinger’s throw reached Justin Turner’s glove.
