SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco Giants broadcaster Mike Krukow will broadcast 22 of the team’s road games this season, but he won’t be in the ballpark where the game is taking place.
Krukow, who is battling inclusion-body myositis, a muscle disease, announced Friday that he agreed to a two-year extension with the Giants that will give him an opportunity to stay involved on a portion of the team’s road schedule by providing color commentary from the NBC Sports Bay Area studio.
