With the offseason officially here, the San Francisco Giants have some work to do filling in the holes left by the players that have now become free agents. One of those players is Javier Lopez. Known as a lefty specialist, the Giants traded for him in the 2010 season to bolster a bullpen to be able to contend for a championship.
Seven years later, Lopez has now been a part of three World Championships with the Giants. Together with Jeremy Affeldt, Sergio Romo, and Santiago Casilla they were known as the Core 4. Lurking at the back end of the bullpen ready to be called upon to secure the victory.
