It looks like the San Francisco Giants are going to have an interesting decision to make this summer regarding fan-favorite Pablo Sandoval.
The 32-year-old is hitting .280/.318/.561 for a 129 OPS+ while tallying 16 doubles and 10 home runs over 177 plate appearances in a part-time role.
Other teams around the league are taking notice.
According to Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area, the veteran switch-hitter is generating interest from contenders:
“The Giants’ front office already has received calls on Sandoval, per a source, and he comes with few strings attached.
