The San Francisco Giants finished the 2019 season with a 77-85 record, which was just good enough to get manager Bruce Bochy over the 2,000-win threshold, but left the team well short of the playoff picture.
Compared to last year’s 73-89 record, the Giants improved their win total by four while starting the season with largely the same roster.
This offseason the team will be looking for a new manager and a new general manager, while also trying to fill a number of holes on the roster, including in the bullpen and outfield.
