The San Francisco Giants will have one big hole to fill this offseason as General Manager for the last four years, Bobby Evans, has been fired from his role. It doesn’t currently look like he will be re-assigned within the organization as his 25 year run with the ball club comes to an end.
Henry Schulman broke the news this afternoon as there are more moves coming in the San Francisco Giants front office in the coming weeks as well.
While his true influence could be debated, it was a marked change in philosophy for the Giants when he came in.
