San Francisco Giants' Erik Kratz (5) celebrates at the end of an 18 inning baseball game against the Colorado Rockies Saturday, April 13, 2019, in San Francisco.

On Friday night, the San Francisco Giants defeated the Colorado Rockies 3-2 in an 18-inning, 5-hour-and-35-minute game that didn't end until 1 a.m.

The Giants set off postgame victory fireworks anyway.

The few fans remaining at Oracle Park enjoyed the show, but a number of San Francisco residents who got woken up by the fireworks were less than thrilled.

"LOUD BANGING ANYONE?" someone wrote on the San Francisco Reddit page. "I'M TRYING TO DUCKUNGSLEEP AHAT THE F— IS THAT NOISE."

"Giants won an 18 inning marathon game, and despite lasting 2 games worth, still promised a fireworks show," someone wrote in response.
