Buster Posey and Brandon Crawford are the best, but you already knew that. Now the Sporting News—one of the country’s oldest and most respected sports publications—agrees. On Wednesday, Posey and Crawford were each named to the 2015 Sporting News National League All Star team, which was selected by a panel of 25 National League executives.
This is Posey’s third selection to the team and Crawford’s first. Posey has long been considered one of the NL’s top catchers, along with Yadier Molina, but Crawford’s selection highlights his increased profile around the league.
