Johnny Cueto was sent to the hill to oppose R.A Dickey for the rubber match of the series. Giants pitching has been solid of late, but the bats were looking to pick up the slack, and they did just that.
After Johnny Cueto allows a couple of hits to start off the game, he escapes the early trouble in the first. Giants bats would come up and produce right away, as they plated two runs in the bottom of the first. With the help of an Eduardo Nunez single, and two walks from Belt and Posey, the Giants were able to score on a wild pitch and a ground out.
