Redwood Shores-based Oracle Corp. has purchased the naming rights to the San Francisco Giants team stadium for between $200 million and $350 million and inked a 20-year deal.
The Giants officially announced the name change from AT&T Park at a news conference at the park in San Francisco on Thursday. A Oracle Park banner was put up near the statue in Willie Mays Plaza, but the official signage change won’t happen for a few more months.
This is the third time the Giants have renamed their home stadium since they moved from Candlestick Park for the start of the 2000 season.
