San Francisco Giants CEO Larry Baer will not face criminal charges as a result of his public and physical spat with his wife earlier this month.
The San Francisco District Attorney’s office announced the news Monday via a news release:
“After a careful review of the relevant evidence, including multiple videos, statements from several witnesses and the parties themselves, the evidence does not support filing criminal charges.”
Shortly after the incident, in which Baer attempted to wrest a phone from his wife’s possession while she yelled for help, the Giants top executive took an indefinite leave of absence from the team.
