The 2015 baseball season wasn’t supposed to happen as it did for Matt Duffy and Billy Burns.
Destined in spring training for relative obscurity, they provided two of the best stories in a disappointing year on both sides of the bay. They were productive top-of-the-order guys, splendid defenders and among the fastest dudes in the game.
While flashing some pop, no less.
