DENVER - Hey, Buster, you might want to rest that bad foot another day.
Buster Posey sat in the first of three at Coors Field on Tuesday night with a badly bruised right instep. His replacement, Trevor Brown, had the night of his life, hitting a pair of two-run homers in the Giants' 7-2 victory.
Brown did not have a major-league homer until Saturday. Now he leads the Giants with three.
Hunter Pence also hit a two-run homer on a three-RBI night against Rockies starter Tyler Chatwood. Brown hit one homer against Chatwood and the other against left-handed reliever Jason Gurka.
