Someone needs to remind the Colorado Rockies' play-by-play announcers of Jimmy Dugan's edict from "A League of Their Own": "There's no crying in baseball."
There should be no scribbling, either.
The Rockies were getting routed 13-0 at home by the San Francisco Giants in the bottom of the fourth during the first game of a doubleheader Monday when AT&T Sportsnet Rocky Mountain announcers Drew Goodman and Ryan Spilborghs decided to take action.
"Move that scoreboard off," Goodman said during the live broadcast of the game before the scoreboard was taken off of the television screen. "We've elected not to show people the score for a while.
