Playoff hero Travis Ishikawa may once again be looking for a new home.
On January 16, the longtime Giants first baseman had reportedly agreed to a minor league deal with the Seattle Mariners. The deal reportedly included an invite to major league camp.
Two weeks later, the deal has "fallen apart" and "appears unlikely" to happen, according to Tacoma News Tribune's Bob Dutton.
After hitting a three-run walk-off home run to send the Giants to the World Series in 2014, Ishikawa began the 2015 season with San Francisco, but was designated for assignment in July to make room for Ryan Lollis.
