The San Francisco Giants are cutting prices for their season tickets for the first time since they moved into the ballpark now known as Oracle Park, according to a report from the San Francisco Chronicle.
Ron Kroichick of the Chronicle reported on Thursday that the Giants will be cutting 80 percent of season tickets offered for the 2020 season and offering several other incentives to help curb a drop in attendance and season ticket sales.
Russ Stanley, the Giants' senior vice president of ticket sales and services, told the Chronicle the switch was inspired by focus groups and season ticket holders this year.
