In the wake of the Giants ailing in the infield, the team is reportedly showing "strong interest" in Cuban star Yuliesky Gurriel, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports. Gurriel has mainly played third base in the Cuban National Series.
With Matt Duffy and Kelby Tomlinson sitting on the 15-day DL, as well Joe Panik dealing with a concussion on the 7-day DL, San Francisco has reached down to their minor leagues to fill out its infield.
