The Giants have made it clear that one of their top offseason priorities is to add one or two starting pitchers.
And the free agent market offers plenty of big-ticket options.
The biggest of them all appears to be left-handed pitcher David Price, and the Giants are reportedly doing "background preparation" on the 2015 AL Cy Young finalist according to ESPN.

The 30-year-old opened 2015 with the Tigers and was traded to the Blue Jays prior to the trade deadline.
