With the Giants pretty much done filling out their major league roster, they are now addressing minor league depth.
On Friday, according to Baseball America, they signed former top prospect Mike Kickham to a minor league deal.
Kickham, who split time between the Seattle and Texas organizations in 2015, was originally a sixth round pick by the Giants in 2010. The lefty ascended to the No. 5 prospect in San Francisco's system in 2012 and made his major league debut on May 28, 2013.
The 27-year-old Kickham pitched in 14 games over the 2013 and 2014 seasons with the Giants, but never found success.
