Logan Webb pitched another strong game but the Giants eked out a mere four hits, and scored their only run on an errant pickoff throw. The Reds run more than anyone in baseball, and they ran a successful double steal to score a second run in the 6th and that was all they needed. The Giants made it 2-1 in the bottom half but managed only a few walks the rest of the way. It was feeble. The Reds played like they did not want to get swept. It was another missed opportunity in what feels like a season of missed opportunities.
