Parker injures shoulder catching fly ball

SAN FRANCISCO -- Giants left fielder Jarrett Parker made a remarkable catch of DJ LeMahieu's drive in Colorado's half of the fourth inning, but he sustained an apparent right shoulder injury and left the game.

With two outs and three runs already in, LeMahieu hit a line drive over the head of Parker, who ran back for the ball and grabbed it an instant before colliding with the wall. The impact Parker absorbed as he crashed into the barrier between the flag cutouts denoting the 2010 and '12 World Series-winning teams was audible; a loud crashing could be heard throughout AT&T Park.
