Panik to start rehab Tuesday, Duffy perhaps by the weekend

In for Baggs …

As people start to grip about the 1-7 road trip and the fact that the Dodgers are now only three games behind in the National League West, it’s great to swoop in today and be a shining beacon of good news.

Joe Panik appears to be over his concussion and will officially start a rehab assignment Tuesday in Sacramento. As for Matt Duffy, he was out on the AT&T Park field early Monday, not only running but running curves. Manager Bruce Bochy said Duffy isn’t feeling any pain or soreness in his Achilles, appears to be “over the hump,” and could start his own rehab assignment by this weekend.
