1. Scott Ostler listed 13 strokes of “bad luck” that helped make the Warriors the team they are, and here’s one that applies to the Giants:
They had no one on their depth chart to play third base in 2015 and were desperate enough to re-sign Pablo Sandoval that they offered basically what he got in Boston, $95 million over five years, and were willing to go to $100 million.
