CINCINNATI (AP) -- Outfielder Hunter Pence is on his way to rejoin the San Francisco Giants.
Manager Bruce Bochy says Pence feels good after a one-week rehab assignment in the minors and has a flight to Cincinnati. He could be activated on Saturday before the third game of a series against the Cincinnati Reds.
Pence's left forearm was broken by a pitch from the Cubs' Corey Black on March 5. He went 5 for 17 with two homers in five games on a rehab assignment.
San Francisco's struggling offense could use the help.
