The first-place Giants have lost games by 16 and 11 runs this season, but never had they been so helpless as they were Tuesday.
Even with William VanLandingham flirting with a misleading no-hitter for six innings, they didn’t come close.
The reason was Florida’s Kevin Brown, who elevated his mastery of the Giants with a no-hitter for a 9-0 victory.
