An official provider of Giants gear has somehow managed to commit a bigger crime than selling a "San Fran" jersey.
Pro Standard was selling a black hat commemorating the 2012 World Series title with "San Fransico" plastered across the front in an Old English font. It was quickly pulled from MLB's official website, but you can still see it on Nordstrom's site, where it's listed as "sold out."
The existence of the hideous hat with a misspelling was first reported by the San Francisco Standard.
Pro Standard, which touts the motto "The End Of An Era, The Beginning Of Legends" on its website, did not immediately respond to messages from SFGATE asking about the hat.
