Oakland A’s sticking it to Giants fans with parking fee this season

OK, San Francisco Giants fans, can you put a price on your loyalty?

That’s the test if you plan to drive to Oakland for Bay Bridge series games this season.

For the cross-bay rivals’ four games this season at the Coliseum — today and July 20-22 — the Oakland A’s will put a surcharge on parking in that humongous, oh-so-convenient lot. But it applies only to Giants fans. They’ll pay $50 to park those days vs $30 for A’s fans.

Oh, but they’ll let you out of that extra fee. Here’s the deal:

“Any Giants fan who yells ‘Go A’s’ at the parking gates will be charged only $30 to enter the Oakland Coliseum,” A’s President Dave Kaval said in a statement.
