Notes: Duffy back in the third spot for slumping Giants

SAN FRANCISCO -- Here's the funny thing about this Giants skid: They're still fourth in the National League in runs scored.

No, the sky is not falling, but it's been a rough week nonetheless, so manger Bruce Bochy decided to change it up. Matt Duffy, one of the few Giants not going through a slump at the moment, is back in the No. 3 spot. To break up the right-handers, Brandon Belt slides ahead of Hunter Pence.

"Let's try what worked (last year), because right now it's not working," Bochy said. "We're just going back to what worked for us for a while last year.
