The San Francisco Giants mostly kept their team together at the trade deadline this week, and some of MLB Network’s analysts are blasting the front office as a result.
The Giants made only three moves, trading away Jorge Soler and Luke Jackson to the Braves and Alex Cobb to the Guardians while acquiring Mark Canha from the Tigers. But the team didn’t otherwise add to the roster to try to make a playoff push, instead deciding to hold on to starter Blake Snell despite several teams reportedly trying to trade for him.
