MySpace co-founder offers to pay for Giants to keep Lincecum

Tim Lincecum has a lot of fans, but few with deeper pockets than Tom Anderson, that guy who was your first friend on MySpace.

Anderson, who co-founded MySpace and later sold the company to News Corp for $580 million, is currently retired and apparently worried that Lincecum won't be with the San Francisco Giants next season. So worried that he's willing to use some of that sweet MySpace money to retain Timmy:

Lincecum underwent hip surgery in September and is hoping to put on a pitching showcase in early February to audition his services for major league teams.
