The start of the 2025 MLB season is right around the corner. In just 24 short days, the San Francisco Giants will play the first of at least 162 games this season, and good news: we’ll actually be able to watch those games, as our hearts swell with optimism and nostalgia.
On March 27, there will be 26 different Giants players wearing a uniform, basking in the glory of one of the sport’s most exciting accomplishments: making the Opening Day roster. But as the year goes on, some of those players will shuffle out — due to injuries, trades, Minor League options, or being waived — and others will come in.
