The San Francisco Giants beat the Oakland A’s 4-2 on Sunday afternoon, a critical win for their faint postseason dreams. That was the most important part of the game, but there sure was a lot of sentimental relevance, too.
As things currently stand, it was the final game in the Bay Bridge Series, which the Giants are now the winners of. It’s the last game that the Giants will play at Oakland Coliseum, as starting next year San Francisco will have to drive up to their own AAA stadium to face the A’s, who are kicking themselves out of their own house with no idea where to go.
