The San Francisco Giants roster crunch continued on Sunday, when the team designated for assignment one of the players they signed in the offseason to be a part of the rotation: right-handed pitcher Aaron Sanchez.
The Giants also optioned infielder Thairo Estrada, while recalling right-handed pitcher John Brebbia from AAA Sacramento, and activating right-handed pitcher Kevin Gausman off of the Paternity List.
ROSTER MOVES: RHP Kevin Gausman reinstated from the Paternity List.
RHP John Brebbia (#59) recalled from Triple-A Sacramento.
IF/OF Thairo Estrada optioned to Triple-A Sacramento.
