With four other teams already having hired new managers this offseason, only the Los Angeles Dodgers remain without the position filled.

Two weeks ago, the Dodgers and Don Mattingly, the team's skipper for five mostly successful seasons, mutually agreed to part ways. Since then, Mattingly has signed on as manager of the Miami Marlins, and the Dodgers are still interviewing candidates for their opening.

Of all the potential candidates, Gape Kapler, the Dodgers' farm director, has been described by many as the favorite for the job. However, that may no longer be the case.
