Ron Wotus will have to wait a little bit longer for his first major league managerial job.
The Athletic's Andrew Baggarly reported Saturday that the Giants have told the longtime coach that he is no longer in the running for their open job.
The Giants are moving on to the next stage of their manager search. Third base coach Ron Wotus has been informed that he is no longer under consideration.

Wotus has been with the Giants organization since 1988 and has been a coach with the franchise since 1998.
