Major League Baseball Tuesday announced the schedule for the 2016 Postseason, which is set to open with the American League Wild Card Game on TBS on Tuesday, October 4th. Game One of the 2016 World Series on FOX is scheduled for Tuesday, October 25th in the ballpark of the American League Champions.
Following the scheduled Sunday, October 2nd conclusion to the regular season, potentially necessary regular season Tiebreaker Games would be telecast exclusively by ESPN on Monday, October 3rd. Tuesday's AL Wild Card Game on TBS will be followed by the Wednesday, October 5th National League Wild Card Game, which will be telecast exclusively by ESPN.
