Mike Krukow believes one of the few bright spots from last year’s disappointing San Francisco Giants season is the most deserving of criticism.
The veteran Giants broadcaster, and former All-Star pitcher, called out Gold Glove catcher Patrick Bailey for being out of shape last year and running out of gas in the second half of the season.
To be clear, Krukow didn’t pull a Scott Steiner on his weekly appearance on KNBR’s “Murph & Markus” morning show Tuesday, but he did say that Bailey hasn’t learned how to stay in proper big leaguer shape.
