Michael Morse sees a lot of the 2014 Giants in the 2015 Pirates.
“It’s so similar, it’s eerie,” said Morse, who joined the Pirates in a weird Miami-to-Los Angeles-to-Pittsburgh roundabout at the trade deadline.
“The guys are having fun. They believe they can win every game, don’t believe any team is better. The lineup’s great, the pitching staff is really good and the bullpen is outstanding. It’s the makeup of a playoff team.”
Speaking of eerie, Morse and Travis Ishikawa, who hit two of the most magnificent home runs in Giants history in the same game, are Pirates teammates.
