San Francisco Giants fans may have already seen the last of Madison Bumgarner.
Following the team's 9-2 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers Friday night, manager Bruce Bochy said the former World Series MVP would not pitch as scheduled in Sunday's regular season finale.
"He's pitched enough," Bochy told reporters after the game. "This game is not going to determine anything. He has a lot of baseball left. I'd like to take care of him, so he's not going to pitch."
Bumgarner is an impeding free agent, meaning there's a good chance he's already made his last start as a Giant.
