On a chilly Friday night, Bumgarner overcame a four-run Colorado second inning that really wasn’t much of his doing to pick up a victory that he really deserved.
The Giants rallied for a 6-4 win at AT&T Park.
Bumgarner (4-2) allowed those four runs (three earned) on seven hits in 71/3 innings. He struck out 10 for the 26th double-digit-strikeout game of his career.
