It was a seesaw battle this afternoon in Queens. Mets starter Luis Severino had a no-hitter through five. Jordan Hicks struck out eight in his five frames and only allowed two hits. One was unfortunately a solo shot from Starling Marte. Brett Wisely's single with one out in the 6th gave the Giants an opening and Patrick Bailey drove him home with two outs to tie the game at 1-1. Brett Baty hit a homer off reliever Sean Hjelle in the 7th to make it 2-1 and put the pressure on.
