Q: Is there a little extra edge playing the A’s?
A: Well, obviously you know it’s a passionate rivalry. You get to sleep at home, stay in your own bed, even though it’s a road game. But it’s fun because it seems like we face these guys more than we face the Dodgers now. Spring training it feels like every other game we’re playing the A’s, and then we do the Bay Series right before the season starts, so there are no tricks up the sleeve or anything.
