SAN DIEGO – Kevin Frandsen is about to wear a Giants uniform again.
The Giants purchased the contract of the former San Jose State and Bellarmine Prep standout; Frandsen was due to arrive at Petco Park shortly before the first pitch of Wednesday’s game against the San Diego Padres.
The club added Frandsen to the major league roster because yet another player is experiencing symptoms consistent with a concussion; Ehire Adrianza, who made his first big league start at first base Tuesday night, was hit in the face by a ball while diving for a grounder in the ninth inning.
