Clayton Kershaw's return to the Dodgers' rotation hit a major speed bump Tuesday.
On the disabled list since June 27 with a minor disk herniation in his lower back, Kershaw threw a four-inning simulated game Saturday. On Tuesday, manager Dave Roberts told the media Kershaw "didn't feel great" on Sunday.
Roberts said soreness in Kershaw's back returned and that the team has shut him down until the pain goes away.
The timetable for Kershaw rejoining the Dodgers' rotation is now "uncertain," Roberts told the media, according to the Los Angeles Times.
"The next day he didn't feel great," Roberts said, according to the Associated Press.
