Instant Replay: Posey's bomb lifts Giants over Phillies

PHILADELPHIA — Bruce Bochy said his players had a very pleasant off day, and not just because they got to visit the White House. The Giants took a train from Washington D.C. to Philadelphia and had a good time on the short, food-filled trip, and they sure looked like a loose bunch during the first game of a six-game trip.

Matt Duffy, Justin Maxwell and Buster Posey homered and the bullpen sparkled as the Giants beat the Phillies 5-4 to snap a five-game losing streak.

The Phillies jumped on Lincecum early, taking a 2-0 lead when Ryan Howard blasted a homer into the visiting bullpen out beyond the right-center field fence.
