Instant Replay: Duffy delivers to end Giants losing streak

SAN FRANCISCO — Before heading back out on the road, the Giants finally gave the home crowd a chance to walk out of here smiling.

The Giants scored a pair of early runs, three late ones and rode a dominant bullpen while finally putting an end to the home woes. A 6-2 win over the Seattle Mariners snapped a nine-game losing streak at AT&T Park, the Giants’ longest at home since 1940.

The Giants had just six extra-base hits in their previous 51 innings at AT&T Park when Matt Duffy stepped to the plate with one on and one out in the second inning.
